My most favorite view!  New York Harbor.  That is Staten Island center back and Governors island front left.  That was a great day!  I love how the clouds look.

Window Waterfall

I love the window on this restaurant..It isn't in New York, you need to hop on the Path to Jersey City from there it is a short walk. I wonder if the food is as good as the front window?

Snapped this from my bus as we are getting on the Verrazano Bridge. This bridge and the Brooklyn bridge are my two favorite bridges. Followed closely by the new bridge in Boston. I am sorry I don't know the name, but it is lovely at night!

Ok it isn't a city picture...I couldn't resist this little guy (girl?) sitting in my burning bush...It is crazy cold here and this poor bird looks like a puff ball...

Took a detour today, this is the light installation off the back of 55 Water street...They've a raised acre that is a real nice picnic spot.

Nothing prettier than 5th Avenue during the Holiday season. I'll be real sad to see the decorations being taken down.

Jan 1 2012 - Conference House, Staten Island

All,

For the first official picture of 2012 we have the Conference House. The Billopp House is in Tottenville, Staten Island. This is a great spot for picnics. We love going there on the 4th of July for the fireworks display.

There is a great view of the Kill van Kull from the top of the hill. That is New Jersey on the other side of the water. It was the perfect day for a walk around the property. The caretakers of the home were busy turning the soil in the colonial kitchen garden at the back of the house.
